Carlos Carvalhal was delighted after guiding Swansea City to a dramatic victory in his first game in charge, but admitted that they are not in "paradise" quite yet.

But Jordan Ayew levelled in the 86th minute and substitute Luciano Narsingh scored an unlikely victor with the match heading into injury time.

"Before this game, I said that if you ask 100 persons of football, they will all say that we will be relegated", he explained. "In this moment, in 100, 98 will say we will be relegated", said Carvalhal after Swansea's second league win in 13 games.

"Maybe you have two people who will look and say "maybe not".

Chelsea vs. Stoke City, Premier League
Stoke City have failed to win a single Premier League match at Stamford Bridge in 9 attempts, losing 8 and drawing 1. Chelsea are third in the Premier League, one point behind Manchester United and 16 points behind Manchester City.

Andre Carrillo had put the Hornets into an 11th-minute lead at Vicarage Road, and they held onto their advantage until the 86 minute when Jordan Ayew levelled. We are still not in a good position, but the confidence is higher and belief is higher. Me, my players, my chairman, the fans, we are not part of this 100. But at Watford we worked very hard and got our rewards.

It could have been 2-0 but Molla Wague's header was disallowed and Andre Gray was denied by Lukasz Fabianski with five minutes left.

"We finished the game trying everything, two attackers, two wingers, [Renato] Sanches in the middle, [left-back Martin] Olsson playing like a winger".

"I think we delivered that - and deserved the win".

"But if players do not play with the commitment and the heart we would not have achieved this victory".

They face Tottenham at home in their next game on Tuesday. The result lifted Swansea off the bottom of the table and provided former Sheffield Wednesday boss Carvalhal with a dream start to his tenure in South Wales.

"But with more time to train, we will be better".
