Palestinian dies from wounds after clashes: Ministry

Tensions between Palestinians and Israelis have been running high since December, when US President Donald Trump recognised Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

While visiting three of the four IDF soldiers injured in Saturday's explosion near the Gaza border, the Israeli defense minister praised the soldiers and vowed to avenge the incident.

A Palestinian teenager Wednesday succumbed to wounds sustained during clashes with Israeli forces on Friday east of Bureij refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, according to WAFA correspondent.

A Qatari envoy said Monday that both Israel and Gaza militants want to contain cross-border violence that has flared in recent days, as he detailed a new emergency fund to aid the blockaded territory. Two of the soldiers are in serious condition, the army said, and were evacuated by helicopter to Soroka-University Medical Center in Beersheba.
