Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman landed in Egypt on Sunday afternoon and was received by President Abdelfattah al-Sisi, in a hugely anticipated visit.

Before that, however, he visited Egypt four times (three times in 2015 and once in 2016) after Sisi assumed the presidency in mid-2014.

Prince Mohammed will hold meetings with Sisi, a key regional ally, and other officials in Egypt before flying off to Britain on Wednesday and then later this month the United States.
