The linebacker from Central Florida shared his experiences of people doubting his abilities because his left hand was amputated when he was 4 years old due to a congenital birth defect. He took the combine by storm on Saturday when he ripped off 20 reps in the bench press.

If drafted, Griffin would be the first one-handed player in the National Football League in the modern era.

"My goal was six", Griffin said. He topped his incredible bench press result with an even more impressive feat in the 40-yard dash Sunday afternoon.

Griffin does not have a left hand.

"Everybody in the stands was hyping me up".

"I nearly got choked up watching that", NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock said.

While it was initially presented as a way to discover new content, the firm has disvoered that it isn't "effective". On Thursday, the social network said it's ending the test because the results came back negative.

"I hope I inspire a lot", Griffin said. Despite that, he shined at UCF and went into the combine ready to surprise people. Speed was never a thing that I lacked. "Let's go!" Griffin recounted.

The crowd was hollering by now. The 4.38 40-time would be identical to what Griffin's twin brother - defensive back Shaquil Griffin - ran previous year at the NFL Combine. When I first got to training, I did like 11 reps. "If you need somebody who can cover - and not just tight ends, I can cover slots, too - you watch some film". On Sunday, the former AAC Defensive Player of the Year impressed further by running the 40-yard dash with a now unofficial time of 4.38.

Despite having just one hand, he kept up with his twin brother on and off the field. "I felt it. I didn't know I had it in me, but it came out today".

Not after becoming the best feel-good story of the combine so far - and by far.

"Hearing the crowd got the juices flowing, " Griffin said.

On the other side of the coin, Griffin has more than proven he belongs on an National Football League roster.

The cross came in from Marcelo , and Ronaldo rose highest at the near post to nod home. "I am also happy with how Theo played". Madrid leads 3-1 after the first leg. "We'll have to see on Sunday if they do [train]".

Though it seems illogical that a player with only one arm could be an effective defender, Griffin has adapted wonderfully, using his forearm to fend off opponents.

"I feel like I could just start curling 225 right now and I'm pretty sure come tomorrow, it's going to be adrenalin just going insane".

"I called right after our bowl game and tried to see if I was invited", Griffin said weeks before learning the exciting news. "If I feel this good doing the bench press, I can't wait to see how I am tomorrow".

"I always tell everybody, if I can inspire one, they can inspire one more, and I can inspire a thousand later", he said.

Griffin, generally projected as a Day Three draft pick, measured in at 6-foot-1, 227 pounds at the Combine. Talk about a multi-dimensional talent - this guy is the real deal. He was really good on tape.

"At each and every level, I'm about to prove people wrong", he added.
