On Monday, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's production partner Fanshen Cox DiGiovanni announced they - along with Jennifer Todd and Drew Vinton - would be adopting inclusion riders for all future production deals at Pearl Street company.

Google searches for "inclusion rider" spiked in the wake of McDormand's speech and there were thousands of tweets mentioning the term in the 20 minutes after her speech concluded. "There has always been available, to everybody that does a negotiation on a film, an inclusion rider, which means that you can ask for and or demand at least 50 percent diversity in not only the casting but also the crew", the 60-year-old actress said at the time.

No word on whether Affleck and Damon are also applying an inclusion rider to every acting project, or only their production company.
