After 10 years in the G League, 32-year-old Andre Ingram was both veteran and rookie on Tuesday night as he made his first ever appearance in a Lakers jersey.

With Los Angeles without the services of Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and Kyle Kuzma against Houston, the opportunity presented itself for Andre Ingram to get some playing time with the Lakers.

Ingram finished with 19 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor, with three rebounds, three blocks, an assist, and a steal for good measure.

The 32-year-old has played in the NBA's G-League since 2007 with hopes of being called up to the big show.

"Once I talked to Magic and everything, I was, I don't know, just emotions were flowing, and I didn't want to stop it", he said, referring to Lakers president Magic Johnson.

Lakers teammate Isaiah Thomas and Brooklyn Nets guard Jeremy Lin - who might be the poster child for players who've emerged from the NBA's minor league and made an unforgettable National Basketball Association debut - were among several National Basketball Association players who took note of Ingram's "impressive" night.
