"SEGA AGES aims to bring prominent titles from SEGA's legacy catalog to fans around the world", an official message from the company reads. Nintendo's NES console was the biggest thing back then.

The Mega Drive Mini has a "2018" release window for now. More details are likely coming around the bend soon, as Sega will want to keep excitement high by consistently revealing the other titles that will be re-released under the Sega Ages banner.

We don't know yet.

E.coli outbreak linked to romaine lettuce, CDC says
Throw away all chopped romaine lettuce, including salad mixes containing romaine. The agency has not identified a common grower, supplier, distributor or brand.

Hopefully the Sega Mega Drive Mini will be similarly priced, if not cheaper, to compete with Nintendo's offerings.

Some have speculated that SEGA's console might actually use cartridges instead of using emulation. This tentatively named "Mega Drive Mini" celebrates the 30 year legacy of the original Mega Drive, and will be releasing in 2018, also in its native Japan.

It appears that a company named AtGames is responsible for the console.

"Surprise" Asteroid Makes Close Flyby to Earth
Earthsky .org reported: "An Apollo type earth-crossing asteroid , was flying through space at 66,174 miles per hour". But according to Andrew Rader, a researcher and engineer at SpaceX, 2018 GE3 is "vast enough to destroy a city".

While Sega has a solid first-party lineup of games, Sega had such an incredibly strong third party offering on the Mega Drive that having partnerships for the console would be brilliant. You can nearly certainly expect at least one Sonic game, and likely several (just not, reportedly, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, due to music-licensing issues).

No price or exact release schedule has been offered for the micro-console yet. Sega has also launched a new retro game push into smartphones, with a new Sega Forever app for iOS and Android.

Classic SEGA games from the Genesis and Master System are making their way to Nintendo Switch.

Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) users in IL sued the company in 2015 for violating a state privacy law. Folks can, of course, turn off the service via Facebook's privacy settings.

None of this has been formally confirmed by Sega yet, however, so it could be that the Genesis Mini will be a major cut above the devices we've seen in the past.
