Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya won the 2018 men's race, with the 33-year-old making it a hat-trick of victories after his first-place finishes in 2015 and 2016.
Kipchoge's time of 2:04:17 was 32 seconds quicker than surprise runner-up Kitata and underlined his status as the most revered marathon runner in history.
"I feel very surprised still, it's unreal, that was wonderful", said De Rozario, who won T54 Commonwealth Games gold just over a week ago.
"These guys went for it, for the world record", said Farah after the race. I was knackered at 30 kilometres and he just stepped up another gear.
Brandon Belt breaks Major League Baseball all-time record with 21-pitch at-bat
No pitcher has ever worked as hard as Jaime Barria did to retire Brandon Belt on Sunday afternoon at Angel Stadium. On Tuesday, Belt singled with two outs in the eighth inning to break up Corbin's no-hitter in Phoenix.
"I really enjoyed today, I gave 110% like I always do". Kenyan Cheruiyot, 34, crossed the line in 2hr 18min 31sec, three minutes outside the 2013 mark set by the British runner.
"The drink station was confusing - I was table four, I went to pick it up". I was saying to the people on motorbikes to tell the staff to be a bit helpful.
Cheruiyot, 34, took advantage of failed attempts by last year's victor Mary Keitany and runner-up Tirunesh Dibaba to break Radcliffe's 15-year-old mark. "I can't do any better than what I did", Farah said. "We have this advice going out from our medical director and I just wanted to let everyone know that's the current situation", an organizing official said.
However, after Dibaba pulled up and withdrew from the race, Keitany slowed dramatically, with her 5:50 22nd-mile time proving costly as Cheruiyot stormed past her fellow Kenyan to snatch a surprising victory in 2:18.31. I got a personal best.

Mr Bryan, who came to Britain from Jamaica in 1965, was held in a detention centre twice for almost three weeks past year . I want to be absolutely clear that we have no intention of asking anyone to leave who has the right to remain here.
After her gold and bronze medal wins in the triathlon and marathon respectively on the Gold Coast, Britain's Jade Jones finished seventh in 1:50:04.
David Weir roared his way across the line as he won a thrilling sprint finish to take the men's wheelchair title for an eighth time in 1:31:15, while Australian Madison De Rozario triumphed in the women's wheelchair race in 1:42:58. The 38-year-old pipped Switzerland's Marcel Hug into second place, with Daniel Romanchuk of the United States third.
Keitany was expected to sweep to victory having recorded the fastest ever time for a female a year ago although she was unable to see off her fellow Kenyan. "I can't do any better than what I did. I feel a lot stronger".
