According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Dallas Cowboys have acquired wide receiver Tavon Austin in a trade with the Los Angeles Rams.

The Cowboys allowed Bryant to leave earlier this month after eight seasons with the franchise to free up an estimated $8m in salary cap space.

Cosby found guilty of sexual assault
They called five other women to testify against Cosby, all who claimed that they were assaulted by the former TV star. Cosby was allowed to go home after surrendering his passport but will be sentenced at a later date.

Austin gets a fresh start in Dallas, which turned around and traded away fellow wide receiver Ryan Switzer not long thereafter.

When the Rams surged to the NFC West title previous year after 10 straight losing seasons, Austin didn't play much of a part.

The compensation heading to Los Angeles is only a sixth-round selection, No. 192 overall. All told, he had a career-low 13 receptions for 47 yards to complement 59 carries for 270 yards and a touchdown.

Austin, 27, is a short-statured shifty wideout who best operates out of the slot within a spread-type offense-obviously, this caters more to the collegiate world. He was a first-round pick in 2013 out of West Virginia. And while Austin does have game changing speed, he's averaging just 8.7 yards per reception for his career, which is another red flag. Dallas drafted Michael Gallup in the third round Friday. That's how they view Tavon Austin.
