Switzerland is one of the few countries in the world to allow assisted suicide, and hundreds come to the country every year to do so with groups such as Dignitas and Life Circle, Goodall's choice.

He reportedly died after enjoying his favorite meal of fish and chips and cheesecake. According to Exit International which represented Goodall said that he passed away while listening to Beethoven's Ode to Joy.

Around midday, an IV was placed into Goodall's arm, allowing him to turn a wheel to let the lethal drugs to flow into his bloodstream, according to Exit International, an Australian nonprofit that advocates for the legalisation of euthanasia.

"The message I would like to send is: once one passes the age of 50 or 60, one should be free to decide for oneself whether one wants to go on living or not", he said, the Swiss News Agency, SDA-ATS reported.

Assisted suicide is legal in Switzerland but frowned upon by many doctors and some others who say it should be reserved for the terminally ill.

Instead, he wanted his body donated to science, or if not, he wished for his ashes to be sprinkled locally.

Highlighting his longevity in the Arsenal hot seat, Wenger added: "There are 20,000 trees [at the training ground]". I want to work well here until the last day of my contract. "I have huge experience in management".

Goodall didn't want a funeral service, a remembrance service, nor a ceremony in his name.

Dr Nitschke said Prof Goodall's death was peaceful.

Last month, he told Australian broadcaster ABC: "I greatly regret having reached that age (104)".

"I'm content to leave them undone", he added.

He appeared bemused by public interest in his case.

In the National Basketball Association playoffs, teams quick to tinker with lineups
Sunday's 118-92 loss was one of New Orleans' poorest outings of the entire season, particularly at the offensive end. Ray Brewer won back-to-back titles in the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons, after Taylor Bern prevailed in 2014-15.

Philip Nitschke, director of Exit International, said that before activating the drip, Goodall had to answer "several questions so he knew who he was, where he was and what he was about to do".

"But I was considered incapable of looking after myself". "People like Dr Goodall make a decision based on nothing more than they've decided there's nothing more to live for".

"As a Christian we don't have a right over our life and particularly under global law there is no right to die".

An honorary research associate at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Goodall produced dozens of research papers and continued to publish after his retirement.

After his retirement in 1979, Goodall edited a 30-volume series of books referred to as "eco systems of earth", written by more than 500 authors.
