Everyone's roasting Roseanne Barr for blaming her racism on Ambien

"I blame myself, not Ambien", she tweeted.

"It was 2 in the morning and I was Ambien tweeting-it was memorial day too-i went 2 far & do not want it defended-it was egregious Indefensible", Ms. Barr tweeted. "And with that said, I have an idea that I think makes this work for everyone", he explained.

Roseanne Barr blamed sleeping pills for the racist tweet that got her ABC show canned. Barr's comments, however, took away from this success. But her show drew praise from President Donald Trump, who attributed its popularity in part to his supporters.

As for her tweet about Jarrett, Barr claimed in other deleted tweets that she believed the former Obama aide was "Jewish and Persian".

"I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans".

With the Roseanne show canceled, others who were involved with the project weighed in on the star's comments - including Sara Gilbert, who had been executive producer on the reboot. Iger called Jarrett ahead of ABC's announcement to let her know. "He said he had zero tolerance. and I appreciate that", she said.
