One of the most awaited events in the tech fraternity finally kick-started and we had a load of updates from Apple.

It was Apple who first brought Animoji to the iPhones, Samsung then introduced AR Emoji. The background also has an image of the Mojave Desert in California suggesting the name of the next version be macOS Mojave. Let's focus on the much anticipated MacOS for now.

There is now a new view called Gallery view, which puts a large preview of the files including photos, PDFs, presentations and slides. Screen video capture is built right into the new Screenshot panel as well.

Some have speculated that Apple building a unified UI framework for iOS and the Mac is a stepping stone in its rumored transition to ARM-based chips for Macs.

With Continuity camera, you can take a photo and it will immediately appear on the Mac. There's also a document-scanning option that works the same way. Voice Memos makes it easy to record personal notes, lectures, meetings, interviews and song ideas, and access them from iPhone, iPad or Mac. That said, despite the popularity of the iPhone and iOS, macOS isn't going anywhere. The HomeKit peripherals will be able to be added and managed on the Mac.

Apple has not forgotten about data security and privacy either.

"Your Mac will look like everyone else's Mac".

New security features are coming to the Safari browser, as well.

The stream can be access on the Apple website, through the usual channels. For these tasks, you will not have to open a separate app or switch to another interface. Last but not least, the Mac App Store is getting a redesign.
