Major worldwide companies are already beginning to distance themselves from Iran in fear of USA sanctions.

He said that the increase would be "within the framework of the JCPOA for the time being", referring to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, otherwise known as the Iran nuclear accord.

As EU businesses face retaliation from the USA for doing business with Iran, many are opting to avoid Iran.
