Kevin Durant scored 43 points, draining a long 3-pointer for emphasis in the final minute, and the Golden State Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 110-102 in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night to move within a victory of a sweep and their third title in four years.

Cleveland came back from 3-1 down in 2016 to take the title but the odds are stacked against them this year with a team of mostly veterans past their prime. "Some of those shots, I don't think anybody in the world can hit those but him".

Players, coaches and even opponents rave about how he makes the Warriors better with his decision-making and how he's a calming influence on the floor.

While it was a quiet night from Curry and Klay Thompson, who finished with 10 points, the Cavaliers simply had no answer to Durant.

The Warriors have a 3-0 lead for the second straight year.

Where is Melania Trump? First lady keeps low profile after hospital stay
Days later, she was checked into the hospital for kidney problems and stayed for a week despite the typical recovery taking a day. The fact that the first lady has barely been seen throughout May has been a hot topic of conversation on social media.

The Warriors are in Cleveland for Game 3 Wednesday with a 2-0 lead in this series.

Bad news for the Cavaliers: Golden State has all the other points in the third quarter. They only had to reckon with Golden State's most deadly 12 minutes.

"It's one of the best teams that's ever been assembled", said James, who is playing in his eighth straight NBA Finals and fourth in a row against Golden State. Although it took until Game 5 for the Warriors to secure the series, that shot is seen by many was the one that won it. Durant, though, disagrees with the idea that it changed him.

The Warriors did it despite one of the most brutal shooting performances of Steph Curry's career, as he shot just 3-of-16 from the field overall and was 1-of-10 from downtown after his historic outing in Game 2.

LeBron James and the Cavs trail the Warriors 2-0 for the third year in a row. They lost the rebounding battle 47-37, but dished out 27 assists and just 10 turnovers compared to Cleveland's 20 assists and 13 turnovers. However, that thing that could've been done better is rarely more obvious than it was in game 1 of these finals. More thinking we haven't played that great and we're up one.

James is averaging an awesome 40.0 points, 10.5 assists, and 8.5 rebounds on 55.8 percent shooting from the field and 45.4 percent shooting from long range.

What will the Capitals do if Evgeny Kuznetsov can’t play?
Both coaches used the Vegas ice quality to emphasize points in their game plan that would probably be important on any surface. The save obviously was huge, as the series now shifts to the nation's capital tied at one game apiece.

"The shot clock was running down, I was pretty far out, I just wanted to get a look", Durant said.

James arrived at 6 p.m. dressed more casually - camouflage trousers, purple hoodie, "Billionaire Boys Club" baseball cap - than on the road where he and the Cavs have been wearing suits during the postseason.

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are still wholly focused on clawing their way back in the 2018 NBA Finals, but many who report on the NBA are already looking ahead towards James' impending free agency. The veteran swingman has missed six games since then.

It also helped that Andre Iguodala made his return to the court after missing the past six games.

Rodney Hood saw his first real minutes in the series and scored 15 of Cleveland's 23 bench points, going 7-for-11 from the field.
