The jackpot for Mega Millions has jumped to $654 million, with a cash option of $372.6 million, after no one won in Friday night's drawing. It would also be the fourth-largest winning jackpot in US history, with two Powerball drawings outranking the highest Mega Millions totals. After Tuesday's picks this week, the jackpot climbed $78 million after no one matched all six numbers.

The odds of winning are about 300 million-to-1.

The next drawing is set for Tuesday, October 16, and the total could be much higher by then.
