According to Saudi's state news agency, the Saudi public prosecutor said Thursday that it received information "from the Turkish side" during a joint investigation that "indicates that the suspects in the incident had committed their act with premeditated intention".

The statement said, "The public prosecution continues its investigation with suspects.to complete the course of justice".

Haspel made a secret visit to Turkey this week to check evidence of audio recordings provided by Turkey that it claims capture the murder, The Washington Post reported on Wednesday.

The US president will meet CIA chief Gina Haspel, who has just returned from Turkey to review intelligence about the killing. A senior intelligence official and an adviser to Prince Mohammed were also removed from their jobs.
