Demaryius Thomas has been traded from the Denver Broncos to the Houston Texans for a fourth-round pick, and the two teams are trading seventh-round picks, too.

The Broncos will also send a 2019 seventh-rounder to Houston and will receive fourth and seventh-round picks in the 2019 draft.

Schlereth's co-host, Mike Evans, however, said he thinks Thomas wouldn't demand a haul on the trade market and questioned if perhaps the Broncos should look to do more than just trade the Pro Bowl wide receiver.

CONFIRMED - Celtic's League Cup Final Ticket Allocation
Rangers dominated possession for large spells at Hampden but created few clear scoring chances as they toiled in the final third. Lewis Ferguson headed in a corner 11 minutes from time to book Aberdeen's place in the final, where they will meet Celtic.

Thomas' departure from the Broncos opens the door for more playing time for second-round pick Courtland Sutton. He has five consecutive seasons of at least 90 catches and 1,000 receiving yards. According to OverTheCap, Houston is slated to have more than $91 million in projected cap space, so taking on Thomas is nothing to worry about.

It won't take long for Thomas to get a chance to go up against his former teammates.

Week 9 of the National Football League season is nearly here and midway in the week the odds makers in Las Vegas have chosen the Denver Broncos to be the favorites in their game against the Houston Texans.

Unless he can lead the Broncos to wins in the team's next few games, he may be out of a job soon.
